2008-2009 Duck Season

Two things I'm thankful for now that this duck season is over - First, I probably got to hunt more this year than the previous five years combined. Even though most of the hunts I went on this year weren't as successful as the one pictured here, it was still great to be out there again. Special thanks to my wife for letting me get back in the field.

Second, I'm now one more season closer to Bo being able to hunt with me. Not sure who's more excited about that - me, Bo... or Amy.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

For myself, Amy, Bo and Carlyle, we hope you had as happy a holiday season as we did. Won't go into details but nothing says Merry Christmas like Cousin Eddie (from "Christmas Vacation") attire for Christmas parties, Christmas morning bed-head, and the looks on those kids faces with each new gift.
