Carlyle has been busy mastering the art of walking, and is actually doing well. She's also realizing that she can control our entire household either by crying uncontrollably or by grinning from ear to ear - both equally effective in their control.
Bo has been busy with school and soccer games.
Lots of "firsts" as well recently. Bo got his first black eye - to this day, still a mystery as he apparently never cried or complained to anyone at school, and when asked repeatedly how it happened, he gives the same explanation - "I just banged my face on the ground". Whatever...
Carlyle fell against our bathtub and chipped one of her front-and-center top teeth - and is still gorgeous I might add.
Bo went on his first squirrel hunt with me - in our backyard no less. So far, he and I have killed over 30 squirrels in our own backyard. And, for the time being, our deck has actually been functional sans all the pine cone droppings from those varmits.
And lastly, Bo went to his first Ole Miss football game a week ago with me and Jim. With 3 minutes off the clock in the first quarter, he asked me if we were ready to go. Actually he did better than I expected, making it through the entire game, with the help of 2 Sprites, 1 bag of M&M's, 1 bag of Cracker Jacks, and 3 pieces of gum...
